According to foreign media reports, due to problems with the fixing of the wiper, Mitsubishi will recall two SUV models on the market.
The first batch will recall 100,000 Outlanders series sold in 2017-2013. Since the accumulated water is easily stored on the connector of the wiper, the spherical connector is more likely to rust, and the wiper is also prone to breakage. After the recall, the dealer will replace a rubber sleeve on the connector, and the rain will not accumulate here.
The second batch of recalls involved the 95,000 Outlander sports car series sold in 2011-2015. The problem is the same as that of the first batch of recalled models, but the water is likely to cause the wiper motor to rust or even stop working, and the problem is more serious. It is reported that the dealer will replace the motor for all owners for free.
However, Mitsubishi did not disclose the specific recall time.
