(Xiushan Island, Daishan County, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, China) announced the construction of the world's largest shipyard solar photovoltaic power station . On January 29, the signing ceremony for the roof photovoltaic power plant project of Changshi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was held in Xiushan Township, Daishan County. On April 21, Chang Shi Zhoushan and Asia Clean Capital Co., Ltd. officially signed a 20 MW distributed solar photovoltaic power generation system cooperation agreement.
 
According to the agreement, the project investor Asia Clean Energy Capital has invested a total of 140 million yuan; Hangzhou Sunny Energy Technology Co., Ltd. will provide all equipment, system design, on-site installation and commissioning, and long-term operation of the photovoltaic power generation project for Changshi Zhoushan Shipyard. Maintenance as one-stop energy service; Tsuneishi Group will provide roof space for installing PV modules and purchasing electricity generated by PV systems. In the near future, the roof of the 200,000 square meters of Changshi Group will be replaced by photovoltaic panels, with an annual power generation of 20 million kWh.
  
The project started in June this year and is expected to last for more than one year. At that time, most of the existing roofs of the plant will be replaced by photovoltaic panels. Each photovoltaic panel has a power of 260 watts, a power conversion rate of over 15%, and a service life of 25 to 30 years. The green energy generated by the photovoltaic power generation system is in accordance with the principle of “spontaneous use and restroom online”. In addition to the purchase and use of the Tsuneishi Group, the surplus power will be integrated into the Zhoushan Power Grid. In addition to reducing the economic benefits of operating costs, the photovoltaic system also helps the Tsuneishi Group achieve its corporate social responsibility goals. After the project is put into operation, the annual power generation capacity can reach 21.42 million kWh, which is equivalent to reducing the standard coal consumption by 7,140 tons per year, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 630 tons, and planting trees for 10,500 acres. Compared with the traditional coal-fired power station, the ACC photovoltaic power generation system reduces the total carbon emissions during the whole life cycle by about 600,000 tons; equivalent to reducing the consumption of gasoline by 250 million liters. In addition, the use of photovoltaic panels to replace the "building integration" technology of the original roof, solves the problem that the original roof color steel tile is susceptible to rust caused by the island climate.
