It can also be seen from the figures that the fine-grained tailings with a yield of up to 65.95% and +0.03mm are sorted and discarded by the strong magnetic operation, which not only reduces the load on the grinding and selection operations in the lower section, but also removes a large amount. The fine mud plays a role in purifying the pulp, thus creating conditions for the final selection of flotation (especially reverse flotation), which can greatly improve the flotation index and reduce the consumption of chemicals and operating costs. Moreover, it will bring benefits to the dewatering and filtration operations of concentrate processing. It can also be regarded as a preparatory operation for flotation. No matter from the aspects of mud removal effect, operation cost and process complexity, the strong magnetic operation is excellent in dry cleaning, machinery or flocculation and other similar operations.
