Shenyang Liu Guihua researched "Jean Blue" dye to invent innovative dryer

The reform and opening up has ushered in the spring of science in China, and it has also enabled many scientists to devote their energies to research and transform scientific and technological achievements into productive forces. Liu Guihua, a Shenyang native, is one of the thousands of scientists, but for her, 40 years of reform and opening up has transformed her from an ordinary college student to a chemical scientist. One and another extraordinary invention has earned her a harvest. Applause and honor, of course, medals and awards.

Put on the "head shuttle" of reform and opening up

Dedicated research to upgrade the "Jean Blue" dye

Liu Guihua was born in a very poor family in Sisanling Village, Benxi City in 1940. Liu Guihua, who refused to admit defeat, finally entered the university in 1959 through hard work and completed the university with a scholarship. After graduating in 1964, she embarked on a job with a grateful heart and was assigned to the Chemical Engineering Research Office of Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry. However, in the historical and social environment of the time, she had no way to sink into the heart for more than 10 years.

After the reform and opening up in 1978, scientific research work renewed its vitality. Liu Guihua took the "head shuttle" of reform and opening up and was entrusted with a heavy responsibility. In 1985, the state reached the research room under the "seventh five-year" project of "whitening manufacturing process and formula research" (that is, upgrading the "Jean Blue" dye to white products), and Liu Guihua was appointed as the project leader.

In order to complete the research better, Liu Guihua, who does not know English, taught English by himself and read the original books for reference. "Occasionally, I saw an 'addition of protective agent' in an English index, and I was inspired in an instant." Liu Guihua said. As a result, Liu Guihua moved the laboratory back home, and spent sleepless nights almost crazy, finally found this protective agent, and completed the formula research.

"Before this, the domestic process needs to be imported and the price is extremely high. With the formula I studied, not only does it not cost to import, but the upgraded white can also be used for coloring during the dyeing process. Liu Guihua said, "It is precisely because of this invention that ordinary people can wear jeans of different shades."

On July 16, 1990, Liu Guihua passed the national appraisal and was allowed to put into production. Liu Guihua also obtained the National Science and Technology Achievement First Completion Certificate and the World Chinese Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Certificate.

Be brave in innovation and break through the old routine

Invented the new dryer to get the "gold medal"

In 1990, the Ministry of Chemical Industry gave the Shenyang Chemical Industry Research Institute a scientific and technological development planning project to research and develop an innovative dryer and ancillary equipment. This important task once again fell to Liu Guihua and her team.

“At the time, the dryers used in the market were imported from Europe, and the cost was very high, but the safety factor was extremely low. It was often caused by a fire in the dryer.” Liu Guihua said, “I did not develop according to the old routine, but innovative thinking. A new design has been made on the gas inlet and internal structure of the dryer, which greatly improves the efficiency and safety factor."

In 1992, Liu Guihua and her team invented the innovative dryer that passed the appraisal of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, allowing mass production, applied to pesticides, dyes, chemicals, food and other fields, and was rated as a national new product.

In 1995, Liu Guihua won the third prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award for this invention and won the "Gold Medal" medal of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. "The bonuses are given to the team. I have only left this medal. For me, this is a great honor worth cherishing for a lifetime."

Retirement for 10 years to play the heat

Form a helping pair with the children

In 1999, Liu Guihua, who was retired, was re-employed by Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry for 10 years to continue to develop new products. Until 2010, Liu Guihua resigned from the Shenyang Institute of Chemical Industry and returned to his home. Liu Guihua, who has lost his professional aura, chose to continue to play the heat and join the work of caring for the next generation.

“My children and I have formed a helping pair. Each person is sponsoring a scholarship of 2,000 yuan per year. I often tell my own story to guide children to be creative and tell them to be confident in their lives.” Liu Guihua said. "In the 40 years of reform and opening up, I have achieved this day with 44 certificates, 3 trophies and 1 gold medal. I am very grateful and willing to pass on the grateful heart and love to let more young people grow up healthily."

Product description:

With our vast experience & knowledge in this field, we are engaged in manufacturing a quality-assured ranges of Heat Sink.
The material used partly determines the extent of thermal conductivity. Copper and aluminum are the most widely used materials, though aluminum is the more common choice because copper is more expensive and heavier. Aluminum 6061 and 6063 are widely used with a thermal resistance of 166 and 201 W / mK, respectively.
