So, in the future of the robotics industry, who is most likely to hold the ears? Luo Jun believes that Google robots, Microsoft robots and other companies are most optimistic about the industry. When interviewed by this reporter, he pointed out that the core of intelligent robots is artificial intelligence, human-machine dialogue, and human-machine integration. It is not easy for robots to think about problems, analyze problems, and make decisions. However, Google Robot has made great progress in this area. At present, robots on the market are only some automated production tools, and they still have a long way to go from intelligent robots.
When talking about whether the “machine substitution†program in the coastal areas can promote the development of the local robot industry, Luo Jun is not optimistic. He believes that at present, the “machine substitution†program is of positive significance in promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, but It does not promote the development of the local robot industry. He believes that relying on the introduction of foreign robot companies to build production bases is out of date. It needs to be restructured from a global perspective, harnessing global resources, integrating the robot industry with intelligent manufacturing, and more from research and development. Starting from market demand, we will develop more high-tech products with practical needs.
It is reported that the reason why this conference was chosen to be held in Foshan, Guangdong, is mainly because Foshan is an important traditional manufacturing base in China. The labor gap is close to 100,000, and it has a huge market base for the development of robotics and intelligent equipment industry. Experts believe that pulling through the market will play an important role in promoting the development of a new generation of robot industry.
The relevant person in charge of the Foshan New City Management Committee stated that the robot and smart equipment industry is a key development and fostering industry in Foshan New City. The local government will give active support in terms of funds, policies, etc., and cooperate with international authoritative robot research institutions and companies to build R&D centers and industrial headquarters.
