Fully enter the Chinese market
Magna, the fourth largest supplier of the global auto parts industry, will enter the Chinese market this year and plans to establish 19 component-related auxiliary factories in China by the end of this year to meet the supporting needs of auto companies in China.
The reporter learned from the interview that the Magna Group is a global supplier of automotive systems, assembly, modules and accessories. There are 224 manufacturing subsidiaries and 60 product development and engineering centers in 22 countries.
According to Yu Hongbo, a spokesman for the Magna Group, Magna has established a series of supporting companies in the Chinese market, including an interior plant in Changshu, Jiangsu. It is understood that the plant is a joint venture established by Magna and private enterprises in Jiangsu. The group will also establish other production bases in China in the form of wholly-owned or joint ventures. By the end of this year, the number of plants to be built will reach 19.
According to Yu Bo introduction, Magna is currently working with some of the mainstream domestic automobile companies to carry out related supporting cooperation, including Shanghai GM, Beijing Benz and so on.
