(NASDAQ: ADSK) today announced the launch of a suite of new workflows designed to enhance construction firms' ability to adhere to ISO 19650 standards. These workflows are part of Autodesk Construction Cloud and aim to streamline project information management, offering tools to define structured and standardized processes for publishing, sharing, and storing data. Customers using Autodesk Build, Autodesk BIM Collaborate, BIM Collaborate Pro, Autodesk Takeoff, and Autodesk Docs can now opt to primarily store their project data in Europe, fulfilling a common customer request.
ISO 19650 was created to establish a universal framework for managing construction information, ensuring consistency in naming conventions and data handling practices. This standardization fosters collaboration and improves operational efficiency, making data management more secure and predictable.

The newly introduced workflows within Autodesk Construction Cloud allow teams to configure, organize, and distribute project documents effectively. Key features include:
- **Naming Standard Preview and Enforcement:** Teams can create and enforce naming standards across project files, ensuring alignment with predefined conventions.
- **Validation Tools:** Users can automate file uploads and verify compliance with naming standards to meet ISO 19650 requirements.
- **Holding Area Feature:** Non-compliant files are automatically moved to a holding area, allowing teams to address inconsistencies without halting the upload process.
- **Integration Enhancements:** Native integrations with Revit, AutoCAD, and Desktop Connector enable seamless enforcement of standards throughout various project stages.
Additionally, Autodesk now offers customers the choice to primarily store their project data in Europe when using Autodesk Build, Autodesk BIM Collaborate, BIM Collaborate Pro, Autodesk Takeoff, and Autodesk Docs. This option addresses both ISO 19650 compliance and the preference for regional data storage, giving construction teams a competitive edge during the bidding process.
