Building and Infrastructure Industry Customers Surge to Autodesk in Fourth Quarter

(NASDAQ: ADSK) closed dozens of new and expanded deals in the architecture, engineering, construction, and infrastructure industries. As the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) continues to accelerate worldwide, more firms in the building and infrastructure sectors are turning to Autodesk for their software solutions. In the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, Autodesk delivered a strong fourth quarter, closing out a record year with AEC product suite revenue increasing by 32% year-over-year. The company recorded a significant number of multi-million-dollar transactions, including its largest deal to date. These agreements highlight the growing trust in Autodesk’s BIM solutions across the entire construction ecosystem. Turner Construction Company, one of North America’s largest construction firms, has seen significant benefits from using Autodesk BIM solutions, particularly BIM 360 on the Oakland International Airport renovation project. In January, the European Union issued a directive urging its 28 member states to use BIM on public works projects.
