Grill Safely With the Compact All Stainless Steel S27T
6 minute read | Grills

If you're searching for the perfect grilling experience this summer, and for many summers to come, but you're short on space, there are still plenty of exciting choices available. The S27T Stainless steel T-Series grill is our smallest all-stainless steel T-Series grill. It's packed with safety features and incredibly compact. It's a fantastic fit for any commercial setting like apartments and condos. However, it's also an excellent option for home use when patio space is limited.
The S27T was specifically designed for property managers who've struggled with tenants and guests leaving the community grills on all night, wasting fuel, and creating a fire hazard. But the S27T isn't just about safety in commercial use.
S27T Stainless Steel T-Series Outdoor Propane Grill
One of the most exciting things about the S27T is its sleek all-stainless steel design. While there are larger and more capable patio grills on the market, few offer that classic chrome look both inside and out. But the S27T stainless steel BBQ grill goes beyond just aesthetics.
Features
- Safety Shut Off Timer: The 60-minute gas flow shut-off timer included on all our T-Series grills ensures that the gas will stop flowing after 60 consecutive minutes of non-use. This is probably the most requested feature in a commercial setting. Outdoor grills can easily be left on by anyone, even responsible users. This vital safety feature guarantees that regardless of carelessness, malice, or distraction, the grill will turn off after an hour.
- Laser Etched Instruction Panel: The laser-etched instructions not only look superior to painted-on instructions but will never fade. Many first-time users purchase a grill in spring, learn to use it, and store it away for the winter only to discover they need to relearn how to use it—only to find the instructions are missing. This won't happen with the S27T patio grill.
- High Power-To Grill Ratio: With 45,000 BTUs of cooking power behind its 540 square inches of cooking surface, you can be confident that this small grill has the power to handle any task.
- PGS FlipGrate: Enjoy easy access for cleaning and maintenance with the 304 stainless steel grate.
- Anti-Theft Knobs: Theft and vandalism are always concerns in commercial and public settings. Our anti-theft knobs eliminate one of the most common issues associated with having grills in public spaces.
- Side-Mounted Heat Indicator: Always know exactly how hot the grill is inside and out with the heat indicator mounted on the right side. This is a nice touch for precise grilling, but it's also a useful safety feature.
- Battery-Powered Electronic Ignition: Our problem-free ignition system has been specially engineered to address the weaknesses of this common failure point on gas-powered grills. On most grills, it takes only a small amount of corrosion inside the delicate starter mechanism to prevent it from lighting. Our T-Series grills light every time with the push of a button.
- Optional Warming Rack: This add-on is highly recommended, especially if you'll be cooking for more than two people. It's a valuable convenience item that every experienced outdoor chef needs.
- Unbeatable Warranty & Service: With our one-year parts replacement warranty, you'll have the coverage you need. Use our website to search for OEM grill parts and keep your grill running strong for many years.
Propane vs Natural Gas
When choosing the T-Series S27T stainless steel BBQ grill, you know it will fit well in any setting. The next consideration is whether you'll power it with natural gas or propane. Both fuel types are convenient, powerful, affordable, and clean-burning. However, they are delivered differently and have varying availability profiles, which will impact your mounting and use options. The S27T comes in both propane and natural gas models.
The Benefits of Natural Gas
Natural gas grills are a great choice if natural gas is readily available in your area and you have hookups where you plan to install your grill. Alternatively, you can have a contractor install natural gas hookups where you plan to use your grill. The main advantage is that you'll never have to swap out or refill a fuel tank. You'll enjoy some extra storage space where the fuel tank would be. If you have the option to use a connection hose, some limited portability may be possible. However, natural gas-powered grills are generally best for permanent, fixed installations in a grill-top counter, or on a sturdy space-saving pedestal.
The Benefits of Propane
Propane grills are your only option if you don't have access to natural gas hookups, but propane also has some valuable advantages. If you want your grill to be portable, propane is ideal. Propane grills can be highly portable since the propane tank is housed under the grill. They can be moved around with wheel attachments when not in use. This gives you some flexibility in your patio layout. It also makes it easy to store your grill for the winter. If you prefer a permanent, fixed grill installation, propane grills can fill this role as well in a grill top counter or pedestal installation. This is a good option if you want the security of a permanent installation and don't have natural gas connections at your location.
Outdoor Propane Grill Mounting Options
The S27T can be mounted in any way you prefer. It can be placed on an outdoor countertop. It can also be built into a countertop, allowing you to create a permanent grilling station. You'll need to verify that the dimensions of the grill will fit into your outdoor countertop. Outdoor countertops look sharp and raise your property value when you install a new one. They are highly customizable and can incorporate any features you want.
If you don't have space for an entire grill countertop, consider a prefabricated grill island. A grill island can give the same effect as a full countertop but is better suited to areas with limited space. Your prefabricated grill island will be made to fit the grill and includes grill storage and countertop space.
Finally, you can mount your S27T on a grill cart. Patio spaces can be high-traffic areas, especially during the summer. Grill carts are an excellent way to save floor space and retain some flexibility in your patio layout. They come with grill storage and one or two stainless steel side shelves. Propane versions sacrifice some storage to make room for the fuel tank, but they can be moved around with wheels since the fuel tank is self-contained.
Whether you're looking for an affordable and space-saving grilling option for your home patio, or you want to outfit a community space with grilling capability, the S27T is an excellent choice. It's perfect for small spaces, or for creating a serious communal grilling facility for tenants and guests with multiple S27T grills. Plus, with its completely stainless steel interior and exterior, it's one of the best-looking and most durable grills on the market.

Rexolite® is a unique cross-linked polystyrene, microwave plastic manufactured by C-Lec Plastics Inc. This material`s most notable properties are it`s stable electrical properties into the Giga-hertz frequency range. It is also optically clear, with a slight yellow cast, when polished (approximately the same as Acrylic), dimensionally stable, and has excellent sound transmission characteristics. As a result, Rexolite® is often used for high-frequency circuit substrates, microwave components, and lenses with acoustic, optical and radio-frequency applications.
Rexolite is a rigid, transparent insulating material made by an irradiation cross-linking process. Rexolite is one of the best dielectric materials known with a dissipation factor 200 times better than nylon.
In contrast with other high temperature, ultrahigh frequency dielectrics, Rexolite has the rigidity and ability to resist deformation under load. These characteristics are extremely important where assembled insulators must withstand compression without yielding and loosening over long periods of time.
Rexolite materials are cast in liquid form and cured to make sheets, then ground to size, coated with a patented adhesive polymer and clad in a laminating press. Homogeneous and isotropic electrically as well as radiation resistant, they are available clad with electrodeposited or rolled copper on one or both sides.
Because it is cross linked polystyrene, rexolite has excellent machinability and shock resistance when compared to other unreinforced thermoset materials.
Rexolite 1422 has a combination of good physical and excellent electrical properties including low and stable dielectric constant. These properties make this material suitable for use in microwave lenses as well as for precision components.
Dielectric Properties of Rexolite®
Outstanding! Rexolite® maintains a Dielectric Constant of 2.53 through 500Ghz with extremely low dissipation factors. Rexolite® is ideal for microwave lenses, microwave circuitry, antennae, coaxial cable connectors, sound transducers, TV satellite dishes & sonar lenses. Other applications for Rexolite® include nondestructive material testing devices, surveillance equipment, radar windows, radomes and missile guidance system housings. One interesting application for Rexolite® are radar lenses which are used in mapping the Earth's surface from fast, high altitude aircraft.
High Voltage Insulators
Rexolite's® ability to withstand high voltage is important for producing gap switch houses, capacitors and other components. Rexolite® is proven superior to Acrylics, Epoxies, Urethane and other plastics for dendriting resistance. (Failure caused by electron bombardment)
Radiation Resistance
Rexolite® is superior to most plastics. Little change in dielec-tric loss over a wide range of exposures up to 1000M rads. Rexolite® has superior resis-tance to mechanical deterioration by ionizing radiation.
Rigidity & Dimensional Stability
Rexolite® exhibits no permanent deformation or plastic flow under normal loads. All castings are produced stress-free and do not require stress relieving prior to, during or after machining.
Wide Temperature Range
Recommended operating temperature for Rexolite® 1422 is 100C; Glass transition temperature is 114C; maintains excellent dielectric properties from -270C to 176C (no load - short time).
Optical
Rexolite's® Optical transmission is approximately equal to Acrylic - (87% visi-ble light, 1" thick). Refractive index 1.59 @ 589 nanometers, 1.604 @ 486 nanometers and 1.585 @ 656 nanometers. Rexolite® is utilized in combination with Acrylic lenses for color correction.
Water Absorption
Less than .08%, Rexolite® type 1422, has been immersed in boiling water for 1000 hours without change in dielectric constant.
Machinability
Rexolite® handles well in all machining operations. Tool configura-tion is similar to those used on Acrylic. Due to high resistance to cold flow and freedom from stress, Rexolite® is easily machined by water jet, laser beam to very close tolerances. Accuracies of .0001 can be obtained by grinding. Crazing can be avoided by using sharp tools and avoiding excessive heat during polishing. Stress relieving of Rexolite® is not required before, during or after machining. Always maintain sharp tooling.
Sub-zero Properties
Rexolite® maintains a Dielectric Constant of 2.55; at -270C the dissipation factor is .00019.
Flammability
Rexolite® 1422 burn rate is less than 1 inch per minute.
Copper Cladding
For printed circuit boards. Available in Rexolite® 1422 or Rexolite® 2200, copper thickness range from one-half ounce to two ounce copper.
