A few days ago, the South African Department of Energy announced the second round of the second batch of wind power project winning list, the purchase orders and EPC business of the local owners of Goldwind Technology . This is the company following the April get GoldenValley project 120MW wind turbine order in South Africa, the fourth round of the first wind power project, after less than two months in this emerging market was the second unit orders.
The order is for the Excelsior wind power project developed by BioThermEnergy , a leading African energy company . The Excelsior project is located in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa with an average annual wind speed of 7.5m/s and a project capacity of 32.5MW . 13 gold wind 2.5MW ( 109/2500 ) direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbines will be used . Goldwind will also provide EPC's total solution for the project.
