LED lighting industry sets off unlimited business opportunities

As the largest manufacturer of energy-saving lamps in China, Sunshine Lighting has always been plagued by a single customer. At the beginning of the listing, the company's 50 business was for Philips OEM. In this case, the company is eager to expand new customers and diversify risks.
The rise of LEDs in the lighting industry has given sunshine opportunities. Compared with the traditional lighting industry with stable market, LED is a new field, and the advantages of traditional giants are not very obvious. Under such circumstances, Sunlight entered the LED industry and continued to expand the production capacity of LEDs. Through overseas distribution, it acquired Osram and Lowes, which are not as big as Philips' customers, and solved the big customer dependence.
Opportunities brought by LEDs Sunlight lighting, which started with energy-saving lamps, has been plagued by a single customer.
At the beginning of the listing, Sunlight Lighting was the largest energy-saving lamp manufacturer in China, but the problem encountered by the company at that time was that the proportion of single customers was too large. Sunlight Lighting was mainly engaged in the OEM of Philips to produce Philips OEM energy-saving lamps. The company's energy-saving lamp 50 business is for OEM, and the dependence of large customers is too high. Under such circumstances, opening up new customers and new fields has become an important task.
With the rise of the LED concept, the company saw hope. As LEDs begin to replace incandescent lamps in the lighting industry, it will be a disruptive change for the traditional lighting industry.
For the giants of the original lighting industry, the incandescent lamps are facing the withdrawal, which will undoubtedly hit their original share. For LEDs, this is a new field. Although the original established companies have the advantages of brand and scale, at least the advantages are not incandescent. The field is so obvious that it gives other companies an opportunity to compete for market share.
Through a series of efforts, the company finally opened the situation. In 2013, Sunshine Lighting won the big customer Osram. Osram is a German company with a century-old company. It was a Siemens subsidiary. It was independently developed in July 2013. The company has the same status as Philips in the field of lighting. In the same year, Sunshine Lighting wanted to supply bulk quantities of Lowes, the second largest retail store in North America.
At present, in addition to large overseas customers such as Philips, Osram and Lowes, the company is negotiating with more than 20 overseas customers to enrich the number of customers.
Entering the LED industry, sunlight lighting seized the opportunity during the LED revolution.
In 2011, Sunlight Lighting invested in LED lighting projects through private placement, and the company expanded its industry with the LED project.
In China, Sunshine Lighting cooperated with Sanan Optoelectronics to counter the industry giant Dehao Runda.
In September 2013, Sunshine Lighting and Sanan Optoelectronics signed a cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture company Sunshine Sanan Lighting Co., Ltd., in which Sunshine Lighting holds 60 shares. Sanan Optoelectronics is the largest LED chip manufacturer in China, and Sunlight Lighting is the downstream lighting leader. It has more than 3,000 distribution and distributor resources, and the network is spread all over the country. The cooperation between the two parties can give play to their respective advantages.
Previously, in December 2012, Dehao Runda Holdings Hong Kong listed company NVC Lighting formed a huge LED empire. Through its Hong Kong subsidiary, Dehao Runda acquired 20.05 shares of NVC Lighting for 1.343 billion yuan and became the largest shareholder. Although NVC Lighting has been shut down since 2012 and is not well managed, the company still has a certain market share and strong distribution channels. Through mergers and acquisitions, Dehao Runda has obtained a mature distribution network of NVC Lighting, and NVC Lighting itself is at the domestic leading level in technology. Through mergers and acquisitions, NVC Lighting has become an industry giant.
In foreign countries, sunlight lighting enters the Australian market. In January, Sunshine Lighting subsidiary Xiamen Sunshine Enner Lighting Co., Ltd. plans to set up a subsidiary company for 1 million euros. The company name is Australia Ainite Lighting Co., Ltd. The main target of this company is retail supermarket and e-commerce market.
Australia has a pivotal position in the LED industry. Australia is committed to the full promotion of LED lighting. It is the first region in the world to disable incandescent lamps. In 2009, incandescent lamps were discontinued. In this context, Australia's LED market share is more than 1.6 billion US dollars, more than half of which is from China's imports.
Establishing subsidiaries to expand production capacity In addition, the company established its own subsidiaries to expand its LED production capacity. In 2013, Sunshine Lighting set up a subsidiary in Jinzhai County, Anhui Province to establish a subsidiary Jinzhai Sunshine Lighting. The company is mainly engaged in LED light sources and lamps. The establishment of Jinzhai Subsidiary mainly focuses on the local low-cost labor market.
Since then, in January 2014, the company decided to increase the capital of the subsidiary by 45 million, indicating the company's intention to further expand production capacity.
In 2013, the company's LED light source shipments were around 30 million, and the production capacity has yet to be improved. At the same time, the company's annual production of 60 million (sets) of LED lighting products industrialization project started production in May 2013, releasing production capacity, which will bring profits to the company in the future.
Previously, in order to expand LED production capacity, the company saw the investment in energy-saving lamps. At the end of 2012, the company will increase the funds raised in 2011. The funds originally used for energy-saving lamps will be invested in more than 50 LEDs. The original capital invested 150 million micro-mercury environmental protection energy-saving lamps industrialization projects, requiring funds of 479.9 million yuan. However, in the same year, the company decided to change the project to 75 million micro-mercury environmentally-friendly energy-saving lamps, and the funds also became 210 million yuan. The excess funds were invested in the LED project.
The repeated adjustment of funds undoubtedly shows the company's determination to make a big LED.
