According to foreign media reports, FCA said on Friday (2017.10.13) that due to a defective part of the car, FCA will recall 470,000 vehicles worldwide, which may inhibit the active head restraint of the vehicle. The car is not working properly when it is hit.
FCA said that as of now, no reports of accidents or injuries caused by recalled vehicles have been received. In June of this year, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration conducted an investigation into the issue. The recalled cars involved the Jeep Liberty SUV produced in 2012, the Chrysler 200 and the Dodge Avenger midsize sedan produced in 2012-2013.
