Leyden 3-11

The All-Stars Gentlemen’s Club, located at 11645 W. Grand Avenue in Northlake, IL, was completely destroyed by a fierce fire today. The building went up in flames rapidly and collapsed just as quickly. With temperatures hovering in the high teens, the towering plume of smoke was visible for over 20 miles. The club sits within the Leyden Township Fire Protection District, just one block east of the I-294 tollway. Multiple fire departments from MABAS Division 20 responded to the scene, including units from Rosemont, Maywood, Westchester, Schiller Park, Melrose Park, Northlake, Stone Park, Elmwood Park, Bensenville, River Grove, Bellwood, and Franklin Park. Several local photographers rushed to the site to capture the event, though most arrived after the roof had already fallen. Steve Redick, Jeff Rudolph, Larry Shapiro, and Tim Olk were among those who made it to the scene, but they all missed the most dramatic moments. Here are some compelling shots from Tim Olk, showing the aftermath, and a panoramic view of the rear of the site taken by Steve Redick. More images and updates are expected in the coming hours.
