Overview
A Square-Ring is a sealing device designed in the shape of a torus (round on top view), featuring a square cross-section (side view).
Also known as Washer Rings, Lathe-Cut Rings, or TetraSeal, Square-Rings are widely used for their superior sealing performance and cost-effectiveness compared to other sealing solutions. They can be directly substituted for O-rings without requiring changes to existing designs or procedures.
Square rings are available in various materials such as Buna, Viton, EPDM, Teflon, and more. In most static applications, they serve as an ideal replacement for O-rings, offering excellent sealing performance even under high pressure.
Standard Sizes:
We mainly stock American Standard (AS568) sizes of square rings in Nitrile and Viton, and we also offer custom options for metric dimensions. The internal diameter (I.D.) matches AS568 standards, but the cross-section is slightly smaller. This ensures compatibility with standard O-ring grooves.
