This experience sparked the idea for Delfast, a one-hour delivery service using bicycles. As the company grew, so did the need for reliable and durable e-bikes—something that didn’t exist at the time.

Daniel and his team realized they had to build their own e-bike from scratch. The result was a rugged, high-performance model designed for daily use. They incorporated a powerful battery system, energy recovery features, and a robust frame. The Delfast courier network became a living lab for testing and refining this technology.

In 2017, after seeing the demand from customers, Delfast launched a Kickstarter campaign that raised $150,000. This funding helped them begin mass production of the first consumer e-bikes. Their claims of a 370 km range on a single charge were met with skepticism, but Delfast proved its worth by setting a Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on a single charge by an e-bike.

Today, Delfast is not just a delivery company—it’s a leader in e-bike innovation. Police departments around the world are starting to adopt Delfast bikes for their speed, range, and advanced features like GPS tracking and anti-theft systems. With models like the Top 3.0 offering up to 321 km of range and a top speed of 80 km/h, Delfast is changing the way people move and deliver.
